Summary
Liga Panameña de Fútbol (PAN1) is the top professional level in the Panamanian football league system. The PAN1 season is split into two championships, the 2026 Torneo Apertura and the Torneo Clausura. At the end of the 2026 Torneo Apertura, the PAN1 teams listed below qualify for the following non-league play:
- 2026 CNCFCAC Group Stage:
- 2025 Apertura and 2026 Clausura champions
- 1st and 2nd Best non-champions with the most aggregate points from the 2025 Clausura and 2026 Apertura
Aggregate points are determined by combining results from the 2025 Torneo Clausura and 2026 Torneo Aperatura into the 2026 PAN1 Aggregate Table.

Season Format
The 2026 PAN1 season is split into two championships, the Torneo Apertura and the Torneo Clausura. In each torneo, the teams are split into two groups of six where each team plays Home-Away matches with the other 5 teams in their group and 1 match against each team in the other group for a total of 16 league matches per team. A playoff is held upon the completion of each torneo to determine the torneo champion. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) goal difference, then (2) goals scored.
Playoffs
At the end of each torneo, the 3rd place Eastern Conference team plays the 2nd place Western Conference team, and the 2nd place Eastern Conference team plays the 3rd place Western Conference team in Home-Away highest aggregate goals win Playoffs. In the Semifinals, the Playoffs winners play Home-Away highest aggregate goal wins matches against the 1st place teams from each conference. The Semifinals winners advance to a one match Final played at a neutral site.
Relegation
Immediately following the 2026 Torneo Clausura, the 11th and 12th place teams in the 2026 PAN1 Aggregate Table will be immediately relegated to the PAN2.
