March 2024, 30 of 35 FIFA affiliated national teams from CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football) started qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. Seedings (2024 CONCACAF Seedings table) were based on FIFA World Rankings (4 April 2024). Canada, Mexico and the United States do not have to qualify, because they are the Co-hosts for the 2026 World Cup.
