During the 2026 CAN1 Regular season, each CAN1 team plays Home-Away matches with the other 7 CAN1 teams twice for a total of 28 league matches. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) total wins, (2) head-to-head results, (3) goal difference, (4) total goals scored, (5) away goal difference, (6) away goals scored, (7) home goal difference, (8) home goals scored, (9) fewest discplinary points (1 yellow card (1 pt) 2 yellow cars or 1 red card (3 pts)), (10) most U21 domestic player minutes, then (11) coin toss (2 clubs) or a drawing (3 clubs).

At the end of the 2026 CAN1 season, the 4th and 5th place teams play one match. The winner plays the 1st place team, and the 2nd and 3rd place teams play in one match semifinals. The winners then play each other in a one match final. If either the semifinal or the final is tied at the end of regular time, two 15 minute extra periods are played. If the matches are still tied after the extra periods, a penalty shoot-out is held.

Currently the CAN1 does not have relegation. As the Canadian League Pyramid expands, relegation is expected.
