Summary
The 2026-2027 CAF Confederation Cup (CAFCC) is Africa's 2nd most prestigious club football tournament where 44 of 55 CAF F/As (football associations) participated. (F/As from Cape Verde, Central Afican Republic, Congo, Eritrea, Gabon, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawai, Réunion, São Tomé e Principe, The Gambia, and Zimbabwe did not enter teams.) The 2026-2027 CAFCC winner will play against the 2026-2027 CAFCL winner in the 2027 CAF Super Cup.
Club teams qualified for the 2026-2027 CAFCC based on the Rankings for 2026-2027 CAF Competitions table. This table is based on results from each CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup from the 2021-2022 to 2025-2026 seasons. F/As that were not ranked (due to lack of results in previous CAFCL and CAFCC competitions) were only given one CAFCL berth.
USM Alger (ALG1) are the reigning champion.
During the 1st Qualifying Round and the 2nd Qualifying Round, if the aggregate score is tied after the two legs are played, the AWAY goals rule applies. If still tied, a penalty shoot-out is held.
