Season Format
The 2026 VEN1 season is split into the Torneo Apertura and the Torneo Clausura, each torneo with three stages. In the 1st stage of each torneo, each VEN1 team plays the other 13 VEN1 teams once for 13 matches. If a VEN1 team was the home team in the Torneo Apertura against another VEN1 team, then they are the road team in the Torneo Clausura. In the 2nd stage of each torneo, the top 8 teams play in two quadrangulars (group of 4 teams). In each quadrangular, each team plays Home-Away matches against the other 3 teams in their quadrangular. The winners play in the Final. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) goal difference, (2) goals scored, (3) head-to-head results, then (4) a drawing.

Relegation
At the end of the 2026 VEN1 Torneo Clasura, the 14th place 2026 VEN1 Aggregate Table team will be relegated to the VEN2.
