Each ALG1 team plays Home-Away matches with the other 15 ALG1 teams for a total of 30 league matches per team. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) head-to-head points, (2) head-to-head goal difference, (3) goal difference, (4) goals scored, (5) Fairplay ranking, then (6) a playoff.

Relegation

At the end of the 2024-2025 ALG1 season, the 15th and 16th place ALG1 teams will be relegated to the ALG2, and 2 ALG2 teams will be promoted.
