The Kuwait Premier League (KUW1) is the top football league in the Kuwaiti football system. At the end of the 2024-2025 KUW1 season, the KUW1 teams listed below qualify for the following non-league play:

- 2nd place 2024-2025 KUW1 Championship Round team
The winner of the 2025 Kuwait Emir Cup, typically an KUW1 team, also receives a berth in the Group Stage of the 2026 AFC Challenge League.

Season Format
The 2024-2025 KUW1 is split into 2 Stages. In the 1st Stage, each KUW1 team plays the other 9 KUW1 teams twice for 18 league matches per team. In the 2nd Stage, the 1st Stage teams ranked 1-6 play in the Championship Round (5 Home/Away matches per team), and the teams ranked 7-10 play in the Relegation Round (3 Home/Away matches per team). Table ranking ties are broken by (1) head-to-head points, (2) head-to-head goal difference, (3) head-to-head goals scored, (4) total goal difference, then (5) total goals scored.

Not applicable.
Relegation
At the end of the 2024-2025 Regular season, the 3rd and 4th place KUW1 Relegation Round teams will be relegated directly to the KUW2, and 2 KUW2 teams will be promoted.
