Summary
The Meiji Yasuda J1 League (JPN1) is the top level of league-style football competition in Japan. During 2026, it will transition from a Spring-Autumn format to an Autumn-Spring format. To facilitate this change, an intermediate tournament, the 2026 J1 100 Year Vision League, will run from 7 February 2026 to 7 June 2026.
At the end of the 2026 J1 100 Year Vision League season, the JPN1 teams listed below qualify for the following non-league play:

Season Format
The 2026 J1 100 Year Vision League is split into two regions, East and West. Each JPN1 team plays Home-Away matches with the other 9 JPN1 teams in their region for a total of 18 league matches per team. If a match is still tied after 90 minutes (plus extra time), the teams go straight to a penalty shoot-out. Winners of the penalty shoot-out will receive an extra point. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) goal difference, (2) goals scored, (3) head-to-head points, (4) head-to-head goal difference, then (5) head-to-head goals scored.
