Summary

The Ligue Haïtienne (HAI1) is the top league in the Haiti football league system. At the end of the 2020 season, the HAI1 teams listed below qualify for the following non-league play:

2021 Caribbean Club Championship:
- the 2020 HAI1 Série de Ouverture and Série de Clôture champions

(The winner of the 2021 Caribbean Club Championship receives a berth in 2022 CONCACAF Champions League, and the 2nd and 3rd place 2021 Caribbean Club Championship teams receives berths in the 2021 CONCACAF League.)

The 2020 HAI1 Aggregate Table combines points from "all" 2020 HAI1 Série de Ouverture and Série de Clôture regular season matches to rank teams by total points.

Due to COVID-19, the 2020 HAI1 season was cut short at 4 regular season matches per team.

Season Format

The 2020 HAI1 season is split into the Série de Ouverture and Série de Clôture, and each with two stages. In the 1st stage of each série, each HAI1 team plays the other 15 HAI1 teams once for 15 matches (30 total regular season matches). If a team was the home team in the Série de Ouverture against another HAI1 team, then they are the road team and the other HAI1 team is the home team in the Série de Clôture. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) goal difference, then (2) total goals scored.

Playoffs

At the end of the 2020 HAI1 season, the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th place HAI1 teams enter into the Home-Away highest aggregate goals wins Championship Quarterfinals. The two quarterfinal winners then play against the HAI1 1st and 2nd place teams in the Home-Away highest aggregate goals wins Championship Semifinals. The two semifinals winners then meet in the Home-Away highest aggregate goals wins Championship Finals.

Relegation

At the end of each 2020 season, the 14th, 15th, and 16th place HAI1 teams in the 2020 HAI1 Aggregate Table are relegated to the HAI2, and three HAI2 teams will be promoted to the 2021 HAI1.
