Season Format
Each CZE1 team plays Home-Away matches with the other 15 CZE1 teams twice for a total of 30 league matches. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) head-to-head points, (2) head to head goal difference, (3) head-to-head goals scored, (4) goal difference, (5) total goals scored, (6) Fair-Play ranking, then (7) a draw.
Playoffs
The 7th thru 10th place teams position will take part in the UEFAEL playoffs. The winner of this playoff will play in the final against the 4th place team. The winner will qualify for the 2019-2020 UEFA Europa League - 2nd Qualifying Round.
Relegation
At the end of the 2018-2019 CZE1 season, the 16th place CZE1 team is relegated to CZE2. The 14th place CZE1 team plays the 3rd place CZE2 team and the 15th place CZE1 team plays the 2nd place CZE2 team in a Home-Away highest aggregate score wins Promotion/Relegation Playoff. The winners play in the 2019-2020 CZE1.
