The Categoría Primera A (COL1), or 2022 Liga BetPlay Dimayor, is the top level of league style football competition in Colombia. At the end of the 2022 COL1 Torneo Finalización, the COL1 teams listed below qualify for the following 2023 non-league play:

The 2022 COL1 Aggregate Table combines points from "all" 2022 COL1 Torneo Apertura and Torneo Finalización matches (Regular and Playoff) to rank teams by average points/match.
The winner of the 2022 Copa Colombiana, typically a COL1 team, also receives a berth in the 2023 Copa Libertadores - 2nd Stage.

Season Format
The 2022 COL1 season is split into the 2022 Torneo Apertura and the 2022 Torneo Finalización, and each with three stages. In the 1st stage of each torneo, each COL1 team plays the other 19 COL1 teams once for 19 matches (38 total matches). If a COL1 team was the home team in the 2022 COL1 Torneo Apertura against another COL1 team, then they are the road team and the other COL1 team is the home team in the 2022 COL1 Torneo Finalización. Table rankings ties are broken by (1) goal difference, (2) goals scored, (3) away goals scored, (4) away goals allowed, (5) yellow cards, (6) red cards, then (7) a drawing.
Playoffs
Upon completion of each torneo, the top 8 COL1 teams are split into two groups of four (the "Quadrangular"). EIn each Quadrangular, ach team plays Home/Away matches against the other 3 teams in their group. The top teams in each group play in a Home/Away highest aggregate wins Finals. Table rankings ties are broken by (1) goal difference, (2) goals scored, (3) away goals scored, (4) away goals allowed, then (5) a draw. The Semifinals group winners then play in the Home-Away highest aggregate goals wins Finals matches. The Finals winner is declared the torneo champion and earns a berth in the 2023 Copa Libertadores - Group Stage.
Relegation
At the end of the 2022 Torneo Finalización, the 19th and 20th place COL1 teams in the 2022 COL1 Relegation Table are relegated to the COL2, and two COL2 teams will be promoted to the 2023 COL1. For purposes of giving teams that were promoted to the 2022 COL1 a fair starting point in the 2022 COL1 Relegation Table, they were given the same points as the 18th place 2022 COL1 Aggregate Table team at the start of the 2022 COL1 season.
