The 2021 COL1 Aggregate Table combines points from "all" 2021 COL1 Torneo Apertura and Torneo Finalización matches (Regular and Playoff) to rank teams by average points/match.
The winner of the 2020 Copa Colombiana, Atlético Nacional (COL1), received a berth in the 2022 Copa Sudamericana - 1st Stage, and the winner of the 2021 Copa Colombiana, Independiente Medellín (COL1), received a berth in the 2022 Copa Libertadores - 2nd Stage.

Season Format
The 2021 COL1 season is split into the 2021 Torneo Apertura and the 2021 Torneo Finalización, and each with three stages. In the 1st stage of each torneo, each COL1 team plays the other 19 COL1 teams once for 19 matches (38 total matches). If a COL1 team was the home team in the 2021 COL1 Torneo Apertura against another COL1 team, then they are the road team and the other COL1 team is the home team in the 2021 COL1 Torneo Finalización. Table rankings ties are broken by (1) goal difference, (2) goals scored, (3) away goals scored, (4) away goals allowed, (5) effective time of play, then (6) a draw.
Playoffs
Upon completion of each torneo, the top 8 COL1 teams play in the Home-Away highest aggregate goals wins Quarterfinals. Table rankings ties are broken by (1) goal difference, (2) goals scored, (3) away goals scored, (4) away goals allowed, then (5) a draw. The Semifinals group winners then play in the Home-Away highest aggregate goals wins Finals matches. The Finals winner is declared the torneo champion and earns a berth in the 2022 Copa Libertadores - Group Stage.
Relegation
At the end of the 2021 Torneo Finalización, the 19th and 20th place COL1 teams in the 2021 COL1 Relegation Table were relegated to the COL2, and two COL2 teams were promoted to the 2022 COL1. For purposes of giving teams that were promoted to the 2021 COL1 a fair starting point in the 2021 COL1 Relegation Table, they were given the same points as the 18th place 2020 COL1 Aggregate Table team at the start of the 2021 COL1 season.
