- 3rd place 2019-2020 MAR1 team
The winner of the 2020-2021 Moroccan Throne Cup, typically a MAR1 team, also receives a berth in the 2021 CAF Confederation Cup.

Season Format
Each MAR1 team plays Home-Away matches with the other 15 MAR1 teams for a total of 30 league matches. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) head-to-head points, (2) head-to-head goal difference, (3) goal difference, (4) goals scored, (5) Fairplay points, then (6) a playoff.
Playoffs
Not applicable.
Relegation
At the end of the 2019-2020 MAR1 season, the 15th and 16th place MAR1 teams will be relegated to the MAR2, and the 1st and 2nd place MAR2 teams will be promoted to the 2020-2021 MAR1.
