Summary
The 2023 AFC Asian Cup (ASIACUP) will be held in the Qatar from 12 January 2024 to 10 February 2024. A total of 24 national teams from FIFA\'s AFC region qualified for this tournament.
This tournament applies the typical "WIN" = 3pts, "DRAW" = 1 pt to determine table positions. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) head-to-head points, (2) head-to-head goal difference, (3) head-to-head goals scored, (4) in-group goal difference, (5) in group goals scored, (6) penalty shoot out if only two teams are tied and are on the field at the same time, (7) disciplinary points, then (8) a drawing.
