Summary
For 2020-2021, due to COVID-19, the Primera División-Superliga Argentina competition was replaced with the Copa Diego Armando Maradona (ARG1). At the end of the 2020-2021 ARG1 season, the ARG1 teams listed below qualify for the following non-league play:

Season Format
For the 2020-2021 ARG1, the 24 teams are split into 6 zones (groups) of 6. Each team in each zone plays the other 3 teams in Home-Away matches for 6 group matches per team. After the Group stage, the top 2 teams in each zone advance to the Fase Campeón (Championship Table) and the bottom 2 teams in each zone advance to the Fase Complementación (Lower Table). In both Fases, the teams are split into 2 groups of 6. The teams then play once against each team in their group. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) playoff (only to decide champion), (2) goal difference, (3) goals scored, (4) head-to-head points, (5) head-to-head goal difference, then (6) head-to-head goals scored.
Playoffs
At the end of the Fase Campeón, the first place team in each group play in the Fase Campeón Final. At the end of the Fase Complementación, the first place team in each group play in the Fase Complementación Final. The finals are single matches played at a neutral venue. If the Final is tied after regular time, two 15 minute extra time periods are held. If still tied after extra time, a penalty shoot-out is held.
Relegation
There will be no relegation after the Copa Diego Armando Maradona (ARG1) is completed.
